What this mod does
Volvo FH4 Reworked is an in-depth overhaul of the fourth-generation Volvo FH (the FH 2012) included in Euro Truck Simulator 2. It starts from SCS Software’s base model and adds a huge number of new parts and options. It’s the continuation of Eugene’s well-known Volvo FH&FH16 2012 Reworked: its current author, nakamura_ya, took it over with Eugene’s permission when he stopped updating it.
What it changes in the game
The mod doesn’t add a separate truck: it replaces the stock Volvo FH4. The modified variants also appear in quick jobs and among used trucks.
- New bumpers, side skirts and roof bars.
- Additional engines and gearboxes.
- Revised chassis and headlights.
- Fog light covers (stock and painted), added in the 1.61 version.
- Compatible with the Volvo FH Tuning Pack, Cabin Accessories, HS-Schoch Tuning Pack and Holland Style Tuning Pack DLC, which are optional.
The credits include, among others, Eugene (headlights and exhaust filter), Sogard3 (decals), 50keda (Hadley horns), galimim (transmission overhaul) and AlexeyP (interior textures).
Who it’s for
For anyone who drives the FH4 and wants to configure it in much more detail without installing a new truck. Keep in mind that, since it replaces the original model, it may clash with other mods that also modify that Volvo.
Game version
Version 4.1.61 was released on September 20, 2026 and is updated for ETS2 1.61. The author forbids redistributing it, so only download it from Steam Workshop or his thread on the SCS forum.

How to install it
- Open the mod's official page on Steam Workshop and click Subscribe.
- Launch Euro Truck Simulator 2 and open the Mod Manager.
- Enable Volvo FH4 Reworked.
- Disable or move below it any other mods that modify the stock Volvo FH4 to avoid conflicts.
- Load your save and visit the garage or the Volvo dealer to see the new parts on the FH4.

Common problems
Does it add a new Volvo or change the one I already have?
It replaces the game's original Volvo FH4, so your current FH4 gets the mod's parts and options.
Is it the same mod as Eugene's Volvo FH16 2012 Reworked?
It's the continuation. nakamura_ya updates it with permission from Eugene, who is still in the credits.
Do I need the Volvo tuning DLC?
No. The mod is compatible with them, but it works without them.
