What this mod does
This mod by JUseeTV recreates the Scania PGR family, that is, the P, G and R series the Swedish brand built between 2004 and 2018, including the two facelifts the lineup received in 2009 and 2013. It’s one of the most complete Scania projects you can install in Euro Truck Simulator 2 today.
What you’ll find in the game
The modeling and conversion work is by JUseeTV himself, who builds some elements on SCS Software parts, and the scripts are by DaStrobel. The included paint jobs are by JUseeTV, Erzi_1982 and Arnook. Because it’s such a big project, the package is over 6 GB, so the first download takes quite a while.

Who it’s for
If you miss the Scanias that came before the Next Generation the game ships with, this is the mod you’re looking for. It’s also a good choice if you want to recreate real fleets from that era, because there are plenty of third-party skin packs made for this truck.
Game version
The author’s official thread on the SCS forum lists compatibility from ETS2 1.52 to 1.60, with an update on July 12, 2026. At the time this mod page was written, there’s no official version for 1.61 yet; check the Steam page before using it on your main save.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 (latest official compatibility listed: 1.60)
- Steam account to subscribe on Steam Workshop

How to install it
- Open the mod's official page on Steam Workshop and click Subscribe.
- Wait for Steam to finish the download (over 6 GB).
- Launch Euro Truck Simulator 2 and open the Mod Manager from the profile menu.
- Enable Scania PGR-Series 2004 - 2018 and move it above other truck or sound mods that modify Scanias.
- If you use skins or add-ons for this truck, place them above the main mod.
- Load your save and find the truck at the dealer to buy and configure it.
Common problems
Does it work on ETS2 1.61?
The latest official version lists compatibility up to 1.60. It may load on 1.61 with warnings, but it's best to wait for the author's update or test it on a separate profile.
Do I need any DLC?
The official page doesn't list any required DLC or mods.
Can I publish my own skins for this Scania?
Yes. The author allows you to distribute skins and add-ons, as long as they don't include modified models or textures from the mod.
