What this mod does
ProMods Europe is Euro Truck Simulator 2’s best-known map expansion. It adds and rebuilds cities, roads and entire regions: version 2.84, released on September 17, 2026 for ETS2 1.61, covers 47 countries and 342 cities.
Which version you need
Each ProMods version is tied to a game version. With ETS2 1.61, use 2.84; if you’re still on 1.60, the compatible one is 2.83. Mixing versions is the most common cause of loading errors.
Does load order matter?
Among the ProMods files, no: its founder has clarified this on the official forum, so you can enable them in any order. Order only matters if you combine it with other maps; in that case, place the maps at the bottom of your active mods list and follow each one’s compatibility instructions.
Required DLC
According to the official ProMods store (version 2.84), ProMods requires: Going East!, Scandinavia, Vive la France!, Italia, Beyond the Baltic Sea, Road to the Black Sea, Iberia, West Balkans, Greece and Nordic Horizons. Nordic Horizons became mandatory with 2.80.

How to install it
- Create a free account on the promods.net forum: the downloads area requires it.
- Download the version that matches your game (2.84 for ETS2 1.61). Save all the parts in the same folder.
- Extract only the first part with 7-Zip or WinRAR: the program joins the rest automatically.
- Copy the resulting .scs files into Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod.
- Open the game, go to your profile's Mod Manager and enable all the ProMods files. Their order among themselves doesn't matter.
- Back up your profile first or create a new one for testing.

Can I remove it from my save?
Yes. The official FAQ recommends selling any garages and properties you own in ProMods areas first.
