What this mod does
Road to Caucasus is the map by Yuriko [MCY] that takes Euro Truck Simulator 2 to southern Russia and the Caucasus. Its official TruckyMods page has passed 110,000 downloads, and the author has updated it almost every month since February 2025.
What it covers
- Kalmykia, Dagestan, Chechnya, North Ossetia, Ingushetia and Kabardino-Balkaria, plus a small part of Azerbaijan.
- Cities such as Astrakhan, Grozny, Makhachkala, Derbent, Pyatigorsk, Kislovodsk, Vladikavkaz, Nalchik, Baku and Sumgait.
- Roads, fields, forests and bodies of water, with new traffic cars in the latest versions.
Version 3.0
Version 3.0, released October 2, 2026, is for 1.61: it redesigns Prohladnyi and Mozdok, reworks junctions and roads, and adds traffic cars. Version 2.9.1, from September 20, had already adapted the map to 1.61 with no territory changes.
Requirements
It needs the Southern Region map; the author notes it’s optimized for its version 13.1. Since 1.1 it no longer connects on its own to ProMods The Great Steppe: to join it with ProMods, The Great Steppe or RusMap, the same author publishes separate connectors. The page doesn’t give a load order.

How to install it
- Install Southern Region Map from its official thread on the ProMods forum.
- Go to the Road to Caucasus page on TruckyMods (Yuriko [MCY]'s verified account) and download version 3.0.
- Copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- In the Mod Manager, enable Road to Caucasus together with Southern Region.
- If you play with ProMods or RusMap, also add the matching connector by the same author.

Do I need ProMods?
No. The requirement is Southern Region; to join it with ProMods there's a separate connector by the same author.
Which version of Southern Region should I use?
The author says the map is optimized for Southern Region 13.1.
