What this mod does
The Road to Caucasus + ProMods The Great Steppe Road Connector is a road connector by Yuriko [MCY]. It links his Road to Caucasus map, which covers southern Russia and part of Azerbaijan, with ProMods The Great Steppe, the ProMods expansion into Central Asia. The author himself explained on Road to Caucasus that it had no connection to The Great Steppe and that he’d make one with a separate connector: this is it.
History
- 1.2 fixed a loss of traffic.
- 1.3 fixed a compatibility issue with Southern Region 13.1.
- 1.4 fixed how Kazakhstan was detected on the map.
- 1.8.1 closed a gap in the road.
Version
2.2, from September 20, 2026, is optimized for ETS2 1.61 and ProMods The Great Steppe 1.7.0. The author has adapted it to every game patch and every version of The Great Steppe since its release on March 21, 2025.
Requirements
It’s only useful if you play with Road to Caucasus (which in turn needs Southern Region) and ProMods The Great Steppe. The official page doesn’t detail DLCs or a load order. The author doesn’t allow reuploading it without his written permission.

- Copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Enable it in the Mod Manager along with the maps it connects.
- Drive between southern Russia and Central Asia without breaks.
