What this mod does
House south of Östersund is a small add-on by LaGe, the author of Sweden Extended, for the Euro Truck Simulator 2 SCS map. It adds a luxury house south of Östersund, in Sweden, where you can stop to rest on your routes.
What’s included
- The house, described by the author as «very luxurious».
- An access road he also built.
- Surroundings full of lakes that, according to LaGe, are perfect for taking photos.
It’s a standalone add-on for the SCS map: it doesn’t need ProMods or other maps.
Version
V4, from September 17, 2026, is the update for ETS2 1.61. Before that, V3.1 fixed an invisible wall, and in the first versions from December 2025 and January 2026 the author fixed ghost sectors and purple lines on the road, and added an icon for the Mod Manager. Since the first version, from December 20, 2025, he has adapted it to every patch.
Requirements
The page asks for nine map DLCs: all except West Balkans. It doesn’t give a load order.

How to install it
- Go to the House south of Östersund page on TruckyMods (LaGe's verified account).
- Download version V4.
- Copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Enable it in the Mod Manager.
- Drive to Östersund and take the road to the house, south of the city.
