What this mod does
Rolfs Tuning (Crazy Edition) is an engine pack by Rolf Schreiter for all SCS trucks in Euro Truck Simulator 2. It has been on the Workshop since 2022 and the author updates it very often.
What it adds
- At least two engines for every diesel truck: the factory engine with a power upgrade that exists on the market, and a high-revving racing engine.
- More performance for electric trucks and for the Krone eTrailer.
- The Allison 4700 RDS R automatic transmission on trucks that don’t get it from SCS, with a variant for electric trucks.
How to use it
The author recommends the adaptive automatic transmission in high-performance mode and a wheel with pedals; normal and eco modes give less power and lower revs. The stock engines don’t burn more than SCS’s, but the racing engines burn a lot more. Without a trailer you can get close to 250 km/h. It doesn’t include modded trucks.
Version
Between September 22 and October 20, 2026, the author released versions 1.61.*.1 to 1.61.*.9: they restored the power lost after SCS’s gear-shifting changes and beefed up the racing engines. Version 1.62.*.1, from October 23, adds 1.62, and the author says the move from 1.61 to 1.62 didn’t break the mod.
