What this mod does
Strands Ambassador 9″ is a mod by ærlenkœnig that adds the 9-inch Ambassador auxiliary LED lights, from lighting brand Strands, as an accessory for Euro Truck Simulator 2’s trucks. With over 240,000 subscribers, it’s one of the most used lighting accessories on the Workshop.
What’s included
- Three light variants: standard, Dark Edition and Limited Edition.
- Colors you can set with the Workshop symbols: the first sets the high beam color, the second the low beam and position light color, and the third the housing and ring color.
Version
Version 1.1, from December 15, 2025, is for 1.57 and later. Afterwards, in the comments, the author confirmed it works on 1.58 and asked anyone having issues to check their other mods or send the game log. It has a thread on the SCS forum.
Known issues
One user says the red Dark Edition variant with amber shows black lamps with white glass; the black one with amber works fine. The author notes he doesn’t have time to take suggestions.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the mod page on Steam Workshop and click Subscribe.
- Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
- Enable Strands Ambassador 9" and confirm.
- At the service shop, add the light to a light slot on your truck and pick the colors with the symbols.
