What this mod does
Volvo FH5 / FH6 Real-World Large Tanks is a mod by chuan that adds large fuel tanks with the real truck’s dimensions to SCS’s Volvo FH5 and FH6, along with side skirts made for them.
Tanks
- 6×4, 6×2 taglift and 6×2 steered taglift: 700 l on the left and 220 l on the right.
- 4×2: 900 l on the left and 450 l on the right.
- The batteries and air tanks under the chassis move to the rear.
Included skirts
- Aero 900+450 l, with steps, for the 4×2.
- Aero 700+220 l, with steps, for the 6×4 and both 6×2 taglifts.
- Aero 440 l, with steps, for the stock 440 l tank on the 6×2/4 and the 6×2 midlift.
Compatibility and load order
The large tanks aren’t compatible with other skirts, with non-stock chassis covers, or with mods that change the chassis definitions. It does work with Volvo FH5 / FH6 Adjustable Fifth Wheel, by the same author: in that case, place this mod above it in the Mod Manager.

How to install it
- Open the mod page on Steam Workshop and click Subscribe.
- Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- If you use chuan's Adjustable Fifth Wheel, place this mod above it.
- At the service shop, choose the large tank and the matching Aero skirt for your chassis.
Common problems
Which skirt should I use?
The Aero with the same capacity as the tank: 900+450 on the 4x2 and 700+220 on 6x4 and 6x2 taglift.
Is it compatible with the adjustable fifth wheel?
Yes, with chuan's, placing this mod above it.
Can I use other skirts?
Not with the large tanks.
