What this mod does
Wheel Tuning Remastered is a mod by GH0ST_92 that improves the look of every stock SCS wheel part, for both trucks and trailers. It doesn’t add new wheels: it remakes the ones already in the game so they look sharper and more consistent.
What it changes
- Redesigned materials for every truck wheel.
- Improved discs, hubs, lug nuts and hubcaps, with new textures.
- Consistent color and reflections across plastic, gray, glossy, chrome and painted parts.
- New thumbnails in the upgrade menu for every part, including DLC ones.
Compatible DLC
The author says it works with the Wheel Tuning Pack, Raven Truck Design, Mighty Griffin, Iveco S-Way and the Feldbinder, Kässbohrer, Kögel, Krone and Schmitz Cargobull trailer packs. You don’t need any of them: if you own them, their wheels get improved too.
Version
1.1.1 (March 17, 2026) fixes overly shiny chrome. The author lists compatibility from 1.50 to 1.60 and tested it on 1.60, although TruckyMods also lists it under the 1.61 filter. He recommends his add-on Wheel Tuning Remastered Expansion, released separately.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 between 1.50 and 1.60 (tested on 1.60)
How to install it
- Download it from the author's page on TruckyMods or subscribe on Steam Workshop.
- If you download it, copy the file into Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Enable it in the Mod Manager; if you use the Expansion, enable it too.
- Go to an upgrade shop and check your truck's wheels.

Common problems
Does it add new wheels?
No. It improves the stock SCS and DLC wheels; for new parts there's the same author's Expansion.
Do I need the Wheel Tuning Pack?
It's not required; if you own it, its wheels get improved too.
Does it work on 1.61?
The author tested it on 1.60. It's listed on TruckyMods under the 1.61 filter, but the description doesn't confirm it.
