What this mod does

Renault Magnum Updates is knox_xss’s work on the Renault Magnum, one of the trucks Spanish truckers love most. He has maintained it since 2012, and its thread on the official SCS forum has more than 910,000 views.

What it changes

Backlighting on the dashboard, navigation units and phones, plus improved versions of the GPS phone on the dashboard or windshield.
Many more accessory slots: an extended dashboard, a sun visor with slots, a license plate tray and a slot under the windshield.
Open and closed blinds and animated windows.
Updated Magnums at the dealer and at companies, plus fixes for some paint jobs.

Installation and versions

You install the main mod and, above it, the fix for your game version. The current fix covers 1.51 to 1.56 (April 6, 2026); the author doesn’t release one for 1.57 or later. There’s a 4-in-1 pack with the Magnum, the fix, SiSL and Kriechbaum’s DXi sound. knox_xss warns that EVR’s Premium sound causes problems with this mod.

7-Zip or similar to extract the main archive

How to install it

Open knox_xss's official thread and download the main mod (7z) and the fix for your version.
Extract the 7z and copy the main zip into Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
Copy the fix too and, in the Mod Manager, place it above the main mod.
Optional: add the SMP 3.3 addon and Kriechbaum's DXi sound, also above the main mod.
If the game crashes, check for conflicts with other Renault mods and raise its priority.
