What this mod does
Restore Old Trucks, by Baldy09, brings back trucks that SCS pulled from dealerships when it released newer versions. The models are still inside the game; this mod just puts them back on sale.

Why use it
These trucks were the stars of ETS2 a few years ago and many players are fond of them. Since they’re SCS models, they don’t depend on an outside modder updating them, and the mod takes up just 256 KB because it only changes dealer definitions.
Version
The author lists it for ETS2 1.57 or later. The last update on Steam is from November 24, 2025, so there’s no specific version for 1.61: if you notice a truck missing, SCS may have changed something since. It has more than 42,000 subscribers.
Alternative
If you’d rather have a mod that states 1.61 in its title, there’s Ownable All Old Trucks – Dealer Unlock. Don’t use both at once.

How to install it
- Go to the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click 'Subscribe'.
- Open ETS2, go to the Mod Manager and enable 'Restore Old Trucks'.
- Load your profile.
- Go to the brand's dealership (DAF, Scania, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz or Renault) and look for the old model.
Common problems
Does it add models from other modders?
No. It only returns SCS trucks that are already in the game to the dealerships.
Does it work on 1.61?
The author lists 1.57 or later; the last update is from November 2025, with no explicit mention of 1.61.
Can I use it with Ownable All Old Trucks?
Better not: they do the same thing and can overwrite each other.
