What this mod does
This free mod by Ventyres turns SCS’s DAF XD into a rigid distribution truck with an Orten Safeserver body (Libner system), the one many catering, beverage and event companies use in Germany. It also adds matching trailers and new jobs for the game’s companies.
What’s included
- 10 new chassis configurations for the DAF XD with the Orten Safeserver body.
- BÄR Cargolift BC2000 S4 tail lift.
- Orten trailers, bought at their own dealership.
- Gastro/Event jobs (catering and events) at SCS companies.
- Dynamic cargo weight and volume distribution.
- Trailer filter based on Germany’s maximum length for rigid trucks with a trailer (18.75 m).
How to get it
At the dealership, choose the «Orten» cab option to unlock the chassis, or buy one of the ready-made combinations in the mod store. The sounds are by Kriechbaum, and the coupling and cables by Sebastian7870.
Who it’s for
For anyone who enjoys short delivery jobs with a rigid truck and trailer, a very different way to play from a tractor and semi-trailer.

Version 1.5 works on ETS2 1.54 to 1.61.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 between 1.54 and 1.61
- Download the mod (free) from Gumroad
How to install it
- Download the mod from Ventyres's Gumroad page (you can enter 0 €).
- Unzip the file and copy the .scs files into Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Enable the mod in the Mod Manager.
- Buy the DAF XD in the mod store or choose the "Orten" cab at the DAF dealership to see the 10 chassis.
- Buy the trailers at the Orten dealership and look for Gastro/Event jobs on the freight market.
Common problems
Do I need any DLC?
None listed. The DAF XD comes with the base game.
Why won't it let me hook up certain trailers?
The mod filters trailers to respect the 18.75 m Germany allows for a rigid truck with a trailer.
Where are the new chassis?
Choose the "Orten" cab option in the DAF XD configurator.
