What this mod does
Signs On Your Truck & Trailer is tobrago’s mod for putting the plates and stickers you see on real roads on your truck and trailer. It has been updated for almost ten years on the official SCS forum, where its thread is close to 826,000 views.
What you can add
- Emission standard badges: Euro 3 to 6, EEV and the yellow plates used in Austria.
- Orange ADR dangerous goods panels.
- Speed limits from 30 to 90 on the back of the cab.
- Front and rear country badges, plus oversize load signs.
Compatible trucks
It works with SCS trucks (DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes, Renault, Scania and Volvo) and with 19 modder trucks, including Wolli’s New Actros 2019, the Volvo FH3, several Volvo FH reworks and vad&k’s DAF XF 105. With Schumi’s trucks, it has to load before them.
Version
1.0.9.50 (February 15, 2026) is made for ETS2 1.58; there’s a separate download for 1.57. The author requires SCS’s eight paid trailer packs and warns of possible conflicts with Mighty Griffin and the DAF Tuning Pack. It’s translated into about 23 languages.

Requirements

- The eight trailer DLC the author requires: Krone, Schwarzmüller, Feldbinder, Tirsan, Wielton, Kässbohrer, Schmitz Cargobull and Kögel
How to install it
- Open tobrago's official thread and pick the download for your game version (or subscribe on Steam Workshop).
- Copy ets2_signs_on_your_truck_and_trailer.scs into Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Enable it in the Mod Manager; if you use Schumi's trucks, keep this mod below them.
- Go to an upgrade shop and look for the plates in the cab, bumper and trailer slots.

Common problems
Does it work on 1.61?
The latest version the author lists is for 1.58. It may cause errors on later versions until it's updated.
Does it work with modded trucks?
Yes, with 19 modder trucks the author lists, in addition to the SCS ones.
Can I leave slots without a plate?
Yes, the author says signs can be left off, for example if they clash with tuning DLC parts.
