What this mod does
The DAF XF 105 by vad&k is one of the longest-running truck mods for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Its thread on the official SCS forum has racked up hundreds of pages of posts, and the author has kept adapting it to every game version for years.
What it is
It’s a heavily expanded version of the DAF XF 105, the XF generation before Euro 6. The idea behind the mod is to offer a much more complete XF 105, with more variants and customization parts than the stock model.
The mod replaces the stock DAF XF 105: it redesigns the European interior and the exterior model, adds chassis, cabs, paint jobs and tuning parts, and is compatible with advanced coupling. Some cab accessories use the Cabin Accessories DLC, and there’s support for the XF Tuning Pack DLC. It includes, with permission, assets by AlexeyP, piva, Donovan and Vasily EVR.
Version status
According to the title of the official thread, version 7.19 is from March 6, 2026 and is made for game version 1.58. If you play on 1.61, check the thread for a new version before installing it.
Who it’s for
For anyone who wants a classic DAF with far more configuration options than the stock one, both for tractors and for building rigids. It’s one of the brand’s go-to mods in the game.

- Enable the mod (and its add-ons if the thread says so) and confirm.
- Find the DAF XF 105 at the DAF dealer or in your garage.
