40′ Flatbed Autoloading Bale Trailer for Farming Simulator 22

What this mod does

This 40-foot flatbed semi-trailer, made by macktrucker921, takes care of one of the most tedious jobs in FS22: picking up bales from the field. It has its own autoload, so you just drive past the bales and they load themselves, and it can also be converted into other trailers.

Bale capacities

• 420 small 1.2 m square bales.
• Between 30 and 42 large square bales, depending on size.
• Between 26 and 40 round bales, depending on diameter.
• It also takes cotton bales.

Other configurations

• Tipper body of almost 78,000 liters.
• Livestock cage: 15 cows or horses, 56 sheep, 64 pigs or 486 chickens (switch the deck with Ctrl + Y).
• Enclosed box with straps, log stakes, ramps and stained wood boards.
• Lots of axle and tire combinations, and a high-capacity bale variant.

Who it’s for

For forage or straw farms that move lots of bales and want a single trailer that does almost everything. If you play on PC, you can add Universal Autoload for loading pallets and logs, or Selectable Bale Capacity for more bale sizes; both are optional.

Version notes

Version 1.1.0.2 adds the high-capacity variant and removes the ramps from the autoload configuration.

Requirements

• Farming Simulator 22 (PC/Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S)
• A truck or tractor with a semi-trailer hitch
• Optional on PC/Mac: Universal Autoload (pallets and logs) and Selectable Bale Capacity (more bale sizes)

How to install it

1. On PC, download the ZIP from the trailer's page on the GIANTS ModHub.
2. Copy the file without unzipping it into Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\mods.
3. On console, search for it in the game's mods menu and download it.
4. Enable the mod in your savegame and buy it in the shop under the trailers category.
5. Choose the body (bales, tipper, livestock, enclosed or logs) and the axles before confirming the purchase.
6. For livestock transport, switch the deck configuration with Ctrl + Y.
