What this mod does

The International 86 Series by Julian F. Modding recreates the International Harvester 86 series, built from 1976 to 1981 in Rock Island (Illinois, USA). 47,420 units were produced, sold mostly in North America.

A bit of history

The 86 series was the first IH tractor designed with a full cab that puts the driver in the center of the machine. It looks short, but its wheelbase is almost the same as its rivals’. It had a 6.8-liter six-cylinder IH diesel, a 16-speed manual gearbox and power steering. It wasn’t sold in Europe, where the Neuss factory built its own models. In 1981 it was replaced by the 88 series, and in 1985 IH’s agricultural division merged with Case to form Case IH.

Who it’s for

It’s ideal for savegames set in the ’70s and ’80s or on North American maps. It works on PC/Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

How to install it

1. Download it from the official ModHub (link on this page) or search for "International 86 Series" in the in-game Mods menu, on PC or console.
2. If you download it manually on PC/Mac, copy FS22_International_86_Series.zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder: Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2022 > mods.
3. Activate the mod when you create or load your savegame.
4. Buy it in the medium tractors section and choose the power.
