John Deere 8R Series for Farming Simulator 22

What this mod does

John Deere 8R Series by Custom Modding recreates the 8R tractors from 2014 to 2022, high-horsepower machines built for large seeders and implements, with a 9.0-liter PowerTech PSS engine.

In-game specs

• Price: $219,524 to $539,725.
• Power: 245 to 410 hp.
• Top speed: 50 km/h.
• Two generations: 2014 (previous) and 2020 (current).
• H480 loader on the 8R/8RT: 2,065 kg lift capacity at full height.

Equipment

• Opening door and windows, plus startup animations on the displays, steering wheel and lights.
• Row-crop and LSW tires.
• Front linkage, weights and rear three-point hitch.
• Starfire 6000 receiver and optional Gen 4 display.
• Optional fenders, beacons and headlight guard, plus John Deere centennial decals.

Tips

It’s a solid base for North American-style farms with big fields. The 2014 generation gives a more classic touch. It’s almost 98 MB. Version 1.0.0.1 fixes how the turn signals deploy.

How to install it

1. Open the in-game Mods menu (ModHub) on PC/Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One or Xbox Series, search for "John Deere 8R Series" and download it.
2. On PC/Mac you can also download FS22_series8R.zip from the official ModHub page (link on this page).
3. If you download it manually, copy the .zip without unzipping it into the mods folder: Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2022 > mods.
4. Enable the mod when you create or load your savegame.
5. Find it in the shop under large tractors and choose the generation, engine and equipment.
