What this mod does
The TLX 1982 Special by 82Studio is a tribute to ’80s pickups under the fictional LizardMotors brand. You can buy it fully restored or in a weathered, cheaper «patina» version.
In-game stats
- TLX 1982 Special: $31,982; Patina version: $19,820.
- 4.3L (480 hp) or 5.7L (795 hp) engines.
- More than 50 tire and rim combinations.
- Regular, Open Chassis, Limited and Vintage versions; since 1.2.0.0, also Sheriff and fire department.
Bodies
- Old Flatbed ($3,982), with straps and a gooseneck.
- Classic Stakebed ($8,200), with seven styles, including forage, tank and animal transport.
- Service Bed ($9,820), which carries fuel to refuel machinery.
Usage tips
The animal stakebed lets you move a few head of livestock without buying a livestock trailer. Its bodies fit the TLX 3500 Single Cab, and the TLX 3500’s XL bodies work on this one. The winch requires the Platinum DLC. If you’re updating from a 1.x version, the author recommends selling your pickups first. That version added pallet autoloading on the beds and different sounds for diesel and gasoline engines.
