What this mod does

Cow Barn Big With LIZARD Mixfeeder, by Kastor (D-S-Agrarservice), is a large cattle barn with an automatic feeding system that runs on a monorail. According to the author, it makes feeding a dairy operation more efficient and gives you better control over rations.

The barn

• 500 animals, $715,000 and $450 a day in upkeep.
• About 68 x 91 meters.
• Food: 150,000 liters; milk: 80,000; slurry: 150,000; straw: 45,000.

The automatic mixer

• It takes silage, hay, straw and mineral feed and produces a mixed ration (TMR).
• Hoppers: silage 115,000 liters; hay, straw and minerals 49,000 each; mix 7,500.
• The fill levels shown in the hoppers are visual only and sometimes appear after placing it even when they’re empty.

Tips

You fill the hoppers and the system prepares the ration for you, without driving the feed mixer wagon through every day. Place the silage silos and a straw and hay storage nearby. Keep an eye on the milk and slurry tanks, because with 500 cows they fill up fast: schedule pickup and emptying with a large tanker. It’s a big investment, meant for an already established dairy farm.

How to install it

1. Download it from the official ModHub (link on this page) or search for "Cow Barn Big With LIZARD Mixfeeder" in the in-game Mods menu, on PC or console.
2. If you download it manually on PC/Mac, copy FS25_CowBarnBig_LIZARD_Feeder.zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder: Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2025 > mods.
3. Enable the mod when you create or load your savegame.
4. Place it from the construction menu, under animal pens, fill the mixer hoppers and buy the cows.
