What this mod does

The JCB 220X is a tracked excavator from JCB’s X Series, recreated by RossN Mods, the author of many of the most downloaded JCBs on the ModHub. The X Series debuted the CommandPlus cab and, according to the mod page, is stronger, more durable, more productive and more comfortable than earlier JCB tracked excavators.

What it’s for

It shows up in the forestry category, under excavators. It’s for moving earth, loading material and digging trenches, and it pairs really well with the game’s terraforming tools if you like preparing your own plot or doing construction work.

Platforms

Available on PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. It’s about 43 MB and doesn’t need any other mods to work; the DLC is only needed if you want the rear camera.

How to install it

1. On console: open the ModHub from the game menu, search for "JCB 220X Excavator" and download it.
2. On PC/Mac: download it from the in-game ModHub or get FS25_JCB_220X_Excavator.zip from the official mod page.
3. If you download it manually, copy the .zip without unzipping it into Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2025 > mods.
4. Enable the mod when you load or create your savegame.
5. Buy it in the shop under forestry, in the excavators section, and add the buckets you need.
