LumberJack for Farming Simulator 25

What this mod does

LumberJack is a script by loki_79, the author of Universal Autoload, that makes chainsaw forestry work in Farming Simulator 25 more comfortable. It keeps enough realism for selling wood to still be worthwhile, but takes out a good chunk of the tedious part.

Features

• Quickly removes small pieces of wood, like thin branches.
• Adjustable chainsaw cutting speed and reach.
• Grinds stumps with the chainsaw in about 3 seconds.
• Shows the weight of the object you’re looking at in the help menu (F1).
• Option to cut trees anywhere on the map, including land you can’t buy.
• Strength mode to move whole logs: hold ALT to use it briefly and double-tap it to lock it on; the maximum weight and throwing distance are adjustable.

Settings

Since version 1.1.0.0 it has a menu with all the settings, so you can turn off anything that feels too easy. Strength mode also works in multiplayer.

Platforms

It’s a script, so it’s only available for PC and Mac. It’s just 0.11 MB and its code is published on GitHub.

Requirements

• Farming Simulator 25 on PC or Mac
• About 1 MB of free space

How to install it

1. Open the ModHub from the game menu on PC/Mac and search for "LumberJack", or download FS25_LumberJack.zip from the official mod page.
2. If you download it manually, copy the .zip without unzipping it into Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2025 > mods.
3. Enable the mod when you load or create your savegame.
4. Open the mod's settings menu to turn each feature on or off.
