Below Every Heaven for Hytale

What this mod does

Below Every Heaven is a horror and adventure mod by the StonefallStudio team. The idea is that you descend through seven dimensions, each one ruled by a different creature. For now Chapter I is out, with one complete dimension, its boss and its own gear.

How it plays

• Gather the materials for the Stitched Smile key from around the world and craft it. It’s the only way in.
• Use the key to activate the portal. The description warns that, once it’s open, there’s no turning back, so go in prepared.
• Inside, explore, collect the dimension’s own materials and look for the structure at its center.
• In that structure Harlow awaits, a boss with full combat. With what he drops you craft the Holloway Set, the best armor in the chapter.

Enemies

The Holloway Guards are the main faction: humanoid figures with painted faces and unsettling smiles. There are also Wobbleheads and the miniboss Cracker. Since 1.5.1, all three, like Harlow, take extra damage if you hit them in the head with arrows, so the bow becomes much more important.

Version

1.5.0 (August 27, 2026) was the update for Update 6 and 1.5.1 (September 16) is the current one for 0.6. The latter tones down the Wobbleheads, improves loot in tier 2 chests and makes all Holloway pieces require Harlow’s bell (Harlow’s Bell). If you like exploring with some tension and want a clear goal beyond regular survival, it’s one of the most complete options available for 0.6 right now.

Update (Oct 12, 2026): with Update 7 (0.7) now out, the author has already published a compatible file: version 1.6.1 (October 12, 2026). What’s described on this page was checked with the previous version; review the author’s changelog in case anything has changed.

Requirements

• Hytale (Early Access) on PC, version 0.7 (file Below-Every-Heaven-1.6.1.jar)
• No dependencies: doesn't need any other mods
• About 14 MB of space in the mods folder

How to install it

1. Open the Below Every Heaven page on CurseForge and click Install to install it with the CurseForge app, or download Below-Every-Heaven-1.6.1.jar from the Files tab.
2. If you download it manually, copy the .jar as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
3. Open Hytale, right-click the world where you want to play it, check Below Every Heaven in the mod list and save the world settings.
4. On a dedicated server, place the .jar in the server's mods folder and restart it.
5. In your game, gather the materials for the Stitched Smile key, craft it and use it to open the portal.
