Void Armor & Weapons for Hytale

What this mod does

Void Armor & Weapons adds «void-infused» gear with a humorous backstory: it’s presented as an invention of the G.N.O.M.E. Institute, full of safety warnings and side effects.

What it adds

• Five four-piece armor sets: copper, iron, thorium, adamantite and mithril.
• Four void shields (copper, iron, thorium and adamantite), more resistant to impacts.
• Five mithril weapons: sword, longsword, shortbow, dual daggers and a holy hammer.

Set bonus

With the full set, an aura activates that damages only enemies (2 to 12 per second depending on the material), plus a corruption that punishes whoever attacks you (5 to 50 per second). It doesn’t affect players, NPCs, passive animals or merchants. An indicator with Roman numerals shows the active tier.

Crafting

The weapons need rare forge parts dropped by bandits. It includes salvage recipes to recover materials and an in-game guide if you use the Voile mod. Bonuses are adjusted in the mod’s config.json. Version 2.5.6 (August 28, 2026) is the update for Hytale 0.6.1.

This mod page was checked with Hytale 0.6 (Update 6). With Update 7 (0.7), released on October 12, 2026, the mod will need an update: don’t use it in an important world until the author releases a file tagged for the new version.

Requirements

• Hytale (Early Access) on PC, version 0.6 (file AipocsHouse_VoidArmor-2.5.6.jar)
• No dependencies: it doesn't need other mods
• Optional: Voile, to read the in-game guide

How to install it

1. Open the Void Armor & Weapons page on CurseForge and click Install to install it with the CurseForge app, or download AipocsHouse_VoidArmor-2.5.6.jar from the Files tab (the file tagged 0.6).
2. If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
3. Open Hytale, right-click the world, check Void Armor & Weapons in the mod list and save the world settings.
4. On a dedicated server, place the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
5. In game, craft the armor from whatever material you have and get forge parts by defeating bandits for the mithril weapons.
