What this mod does
The Dallara FX/17 is a fictional car: a lightweight open-wheeler for track days that Gary Paterson designed and built from scratch for Assetto Corsa. In the description he calls it the Dallara-BMW FX/17. It was his first released car, after about four months of work, and it’s still one of the most downloaded fictional open-wheelers on OverTake.
What’s included
- Model, textures and physics by Gary Paterson.
- Sounds by Modek.
- A single open-wheel car, built more for having fun on track than for racing.
Who it’s for
For anyone looking for a fast, light open-wheeler without the complexity of a Formula 1 car. The author admits it’s “a bit twitchy”, so it needs smooth hands, and that the model’s level of detail isn’t consistent across the whole car.
Version
It’s version 0.1 (February 2017), the only one released. The author left a to-do list for future versions: gearshift animations, distant LODs, new liveries, tire textures, damage and dirt, windshield reflections and texture optimization. It can’t be redistributed without his permission.
Unofficial mod made by a fan. Names, logos and liveries belong to their respective owners; neither the author nor Holymod is affiliated with them.
