The Williams FW19 is the car Williams raced in the 1997 Formula 1 season. The VRC Modding Team released it on the same day as the Ferrari F310B, so you can pit that year’s two big rivals against each other. It’s rated 4.79 out of 5 and has more than 93,000 downloads.

Who it’s for

For anyone who wants to relive 1997 Formula 1 or set up period races with the F310B from the same team. It’s a demanding car: users describe it as fun but tricky, and one says that with AI at 100% it ends up faster than the real car was.

Installation and warnings

Follow the included PDF. For the F310B, the team says to copy everything in the «AC Files» folder into the game’s root folder so the custom drivers load. A few users mention getting stuck on the loading screen or a dashboard that doesn’t show speed or gear. Version 1.0, from June 2019, is the only release.

How to install it

1. Go to the FW19 page on OverTake.gg and sign in.
2. Download the file (about 113 MB) and read the included instruction PDF.
3. Copy the files into the Assetto Corsa root folder as the PDF explains, without skipping any.
4. If you want the optional tires, copy their DDS files into the folder of the livery you use.
5. Find the car in the list and choose the livery.
