The Ferrari F2002 is the car Ferrari raced in the 2002 Formula 1 season, designed by Rory Byrne and Paolo Martinelli and driven by Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. This mod is posted by btk150 on behalf of a small team and was voted mod of the year on RaceDepartment, the site now called OverTake.gg. It has passed 240,000 downloads with a 4.9 out of 5 rating.

What’s included

• 3D model and textures by SalamanderSoldier; physics by burrito and misterbeam; sound by Ferrari64; 2D work and driver animations by btk150, with help from TheJlfan and SimonTek.
• Tire model and force feedback from version 10 of the game, brake temperatures, traction control levels and brake pressure adjustable in the setup.
• Driver based on the non-HANS model provided by Kunos, pit limiter light and sounds adapted to Assetto Corsa version 1.9.
• Separately: paint template, 8K liveries and a community pack with the 2002 season.

Version

Version 1.4 is from December 2016; it stiffened the suspension, changed the dampers and redid the sounds. It hasn’t been updated since, and the mod page says nothing about Custom Shaders Patch.

How to install it

1. Go to the F2002 page on OverTake.gg and sign in.
2. Download the file (about 62 MB).
3. Drag it into the Content Manager window and click install, or copy the car folder into assettocorsa/content/cars.
4. If you want the 8K liveries or the full 2002 season, download the packs linked on the mod page separately.
5. In the car list, find Ferrari F2002 and choose the livery.
