What this mod does
Glencoe is one of the biggest and best-known open maps for Assetto Corsa. Grant Hendry built it using the Glenfinnan area in the Scottish Highlands as a base, mixing real roads with made-up routes inspired by the region’s forest tracks. In total it adds up to around 120 km (75 miles) of roads; the outer loop alone is about 77 km.
What you’ll find
- Narrow mountain roads, fast sections and dirt forest tracks.
- A quarry and small settlements with buildings mostly made by the author himself.
- The Farmers Brown Ring complex, with a rallycross circuit for donuts and jumps.
Who it’s for
It’s designed for cruising and exploring, not for timed races: it’s ideal for road, rally or off-road cars and for recording videos or taking photos with Highlands scenery. The author even ran a public server for group drives, and it’s still a regular map on free-roam servers.
Version
The current version is 0.71, from December 2017. The author presents it as a work in progress: it has no AI traffic and some areas have a simpler finish, but the size and variety of the route are still its strong points.

Common problems
Does it have traffic?
No. Version 0.71 doesn't include AI traffic; the author had it planned for the future.
Where's the finish line?
Under the 'Got Thirst' billboard, according to the author's latest update.
Is it a real place?
It's based on the Glenfinnan area in Scotland, with real roads, filled out with made-up routes inspired by forest tracks.
It runs slowly for me
It's a very large map. Lower the shadow quality and view distance, or use a light car to avoid straining performance.
