What this mod does
Union Island is one of the islands of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, in the Caribbean Sea. Ben O’Bro has recreated it for Assetto Corsa as an open-world map: narrow roads climbing and dropping between hills, beaches, a harbor, an airport and small villages. It’s built from scratch using NASA imagery and elevation data.
Included layouts
- Freeroam: over 30 km of roads and 45 spawn points, for wandering around the island with no set route.
- Scenic: 17.5 km with AI and cameras, ideal for races or replays.
- West: 12.2 km of the western part, also with AI and cameras.
- A point-to-point rally stage that’s still unfinished, added in the latest version.
Details
The tarmac has a very detailed mesh that you can feel through the force feedback, there’s vegetation all over the island, and version 0.95 added new roads, shop interiors with characters and bridges in the harbor. The roads are tarmac by the author’s choice, although on the real island they’re concrete. There are also hidden Easter eggs to hunt for while you drive.
Who it’s for
Perfect if you like driving without pressure, taking photos or testing new cars on real roads. It works with the game’s original cars, and the author recommends Custom Shaders Patch for the best experience.

Requirements
- Assetto Corsa for PC
- Custom Shaders Patch recommended (the author mentions 0.1.76 or later)
- Content Manager recommended
- Free OverTake.gg account to download
How to install it
- Download the map from its page on OverTake.gg (about 372 MB).
- Drag the file into Content Manager to install it, or copy the track folder to assettocorsa/content/tracks.
- Enable Custom Shaders Patch if you don't have it yet.
- In Content Manager, choose Union Island and the layout: Freeroam to drive freely, Scenic or West to race with AI.
- Select practice mode to explore the island with no time limit.

Common problems
Can I race against the AI on the whole map?
No. The Freeroam layout has no AI line; use Scenic or West to race against AI-controlled cars.
Do I need modded cars?
No. It works with the original Assetto Corsa cars.
The rally stage has no cameras
That's normal: the author added it in version 0.95 as an unfinished layout, with no cameras or AI.
