What this mod does
GT3 World Championship 2016 is a championship for Assetto Corsa’s career mode created by c4p. It brings together the game’s official GT3 cars in a ten-weekend season with long races and a big grid.
Format
- 10 weekends against 17 rivals.
- 20-minute practice, 15-minute qualifying and a 100 km race.
- Low-grip track at the start (Green) that improves as it gets rubbered in.
- Calendar: Nürburgring, Monza, Brands Hatch, Spa, Mugello, Zandvoort, Silverstone, Imola, Barcelona and Spielberg.
Cars
You can choose from 12 GT3s: Audi R8 LMS 2016, Audi R8 LMS Ultra, BMW Z4 GT3, Ferrari 488 GT3, Glickenhaus SCG003, Lamborghini Huracán GT3, McLaren 650S GT3, McLaren MP4-12C GT3, Mercedes AMG GT3, Mercedes SLS GT3, Nissan GT-R GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R. Each one has its own campaign and all of them appear as rivals.
Requirements
The cars and tracks aren’t included: they’re official game content, and version 1.5 requires Dream Pack 1, 2 and 3, Red Pack, Porsche Pack and Ready To Race Pack. The author recommends turning on tire blankets and leaving tire wear and fuel consumption at 1x for a more realistic experience.
Version
1.5 (May 2017) added the campaign with the Audi R8 LMS 2016; earlier versions added the Ferrari 488 GT3 and the Porsche 911 GT3 R.

How to install it
- Make sure you have the required DLC installed.
- Go to the championship's page on OverTake.gg, log in and download the file (about 26 MB).
- Copy its contents into the main Assetto Corsa folder so the championship ends up in content/career.
- Open the game's career mode and look for GT3 World Championship 2016.
- Choose the car you want to race the season with.
- Turn on tire blankets and leave wear and consumption at 1x, as the author recommends.

Common problems
Does it include cars or tracks?
No. It uses the game's official content, which is why it requires several DLC.
How long is each race?
100 km, after 20 minutes of practice and 15 of qualifying.
Can I race with a Porsche?
Yes, since 1.4 there's a campaign with the Porsche 911 GT3 R.
