Black Line Dreams (story-driven career) for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

Black Line Dreams is a narrative career mode by AfersonPex, inspired by Redline Stars: Careers. A desktop app plans the calendar, launches races in Assetto Corsa, reads the results and generates your driver’s story. It was released on October 14, 2026, and version 0.8.3, from October 24, adds a Spanish translation.

What it offers

• It scans your cars and tracks, mods included, and spreads them across 54 championships in four tiers.
• Customizable rules, race distance (from 0.25x to 6x), wear, fuel use, weather and AI level.
• A «choose your own adventure» prologue, seasonal scenes, messages, calls, offers and crash consequences, such as driver fatigue.
• Race reports, 64 achievements and a 550-entry codex.
• Accessibility options: text up to 175%, high contrast and a colorblind palette.

Requirements

64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and Assetto Corsa; Content Manager recommended. The in-game apps include a Python one (no CSP needed) and a Lua one that does need CSP for the driver condition effects.

Keep in mind

The executable isn’t signed and Windows SmartScreen may show a warning. It’s a very recent mod, still with few downloads.

Requirements

• Content Manager recommended
• Custom Shaders Patch optional (needed for the driver condition effects); the author doesn't specify a CSP version
• No DLC needed: it uses whatever cars and tracks you have

How to install it

1. Open the mod page on OverTake.gg and log in.
2. Download the file and run the app (it doesn't need admin rights).
3. If Windows SmartScreen warns you, choose "More info" and "Run anyway".
4. Point it to your Assetto Corsa folder and to Documents\Assetto Corsa.
5. Go to Settings > In-game app > Install and start your career.
