Premier: realistic filter for Pure for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

Premier is a post-processing filter by Jacob Cappello that aims for a realistic look and feel in Assetto Corsa. The author considers it a constant work in progress and asks for feedback to keep improving it. Released in May 2023, it has over 50,000 downloads on OverTake with a rating of 4.7 out of 5.

Compatibility

It only works with Pure. Version 5.76 is a compatibility update for Pure .251, and in one reply the author recommends using .254. Before that came a major update, 5.7, and another compatibility update, 5.75.

Tips

If the image looks too bright or too dark, users recommend tweaking the daylight multiplier in the light tab of the Pure config. If you’re coming from Sol, one user notes that the Pure download includes a script to uninstall Sol and install Pure. One user was confused by the written instructions, so the safest bet is to follow the author’s video tutorial. The author also has a YouTube channel with more videos.

How to install it

1. Install Pure (the author recommends version .254).
2. Go to Premier's page on OverTake.gg, log in and download the file (about 130 KB).
3. Follow the download and install video tutorial linked on the mod page.
4. Choose Premier as your post-processing filter in the video settings.
5. If needed, adjust the daylight multiplier in the Pure config.
