What this mod does
The McLaren MP4-20 was McLaren’s car for the 2005 Formula 1 season, the last year of the V10 engines. It’s released by the VRC (Virtual Racing Cars) team, which specializes in single-seaters for Assetto Corsa, and it has a perfect 5 out of 5 rating from 76 reviews.
What’s included
- The 2005 MP4-20 with vibrating exhausts.
- Tuned pit stop times.
- Installation instructions in a PDF inside the archive.
- Work by the VRC team: mati.sala90, sam_alonso93, misterbeam, Ferrari64 and IMrIMike.
Who it’s for
For anyone who wants to relive mid-2000s Formula 1, with blisteringly fast cars covered in aero winglets. VRC also released the Renault R25 from the same season, so you can set up that year’s showdown.
Version
1.1 (January 2020) renamed the car folder, which had a hyphen that caused problems with some apps, and tweaked the pit times. The team asks you to delete the old folder before installing the update. If you like it, the team appreciates donations or, at least, a good rating.
