What this mod does

World Drift Tour is a virtual Assetto Corsa drift league that releases its own car packs on its website. The Car Pack 2021 brings together the 8 competition cars from its 2021 season, with custom body kits, wheels and interiors.

What makes it different

  • These are competition drift cars, not street cars: more power, more steering angle and handling designed for linking corners sideways.
  • They’re balanced against each other in power-to-weight ratio and grip, so no car has a clear advantage in a competition.
  • The team presents it as its most realistic physics model up to that point.

Who it’s for

If you’ve already got the drifting basics down and want to step up to pro-level cars, this pack is a good next step after the WDT Street Car Pack. It’s also handy if you’re organizing a championship with friends: WDT itself allows it to be used in other leagues as long as its logo and the link to its website are kept.

Tips

Many drift servers use WDT cars, so having them installed saves you downloads when you go to play online. To drive them comfortably, a wheel with good force feedback and a properly set steering angle help.

This is the 2021 version, released on January 31, 2021. The same website has other free packs from the team, such as the Enjoy Pack and the winter pack.

Common problems

How is it different from the WDT Street Car Pack?

The Street Pack contains street drift cars; this pack brings together competition cars that are more powerful and balanced for championships.

Can I use it in my own league?

Yes. WDT allows it as long as you keep its logo and the link to worlddrifttour.com.

A server is asking me for WDT cars

Install the pack and join again; Content Manager shows which cars you're missing.
