What this mod does

Mountain Futatabi is the seventh track in the 90’s Golden Drift Spot Project, which recreates Japanese drift spots from the late eighties and the nineties. This time it’s Mount Futatabi, in Kobe, next to the Mount Rokko area.

What it’s like

It’s a two-lane road with very steep elevation changes and narrow sections. Its tight, linked corners make it harder than the Rokko routes. The final hairpins are now the most popular spot for drifting, and D1 driver Naoki Nakamura used to drive there often.

What’s included

  • 16 pit boxes.
  • TV cameras by Leonardo Ratafia.
  • Navigation map and AI line.
  • Ambient occlusion patch by Soyo.
  • Recognizable landmarks: the GIANCALDO restaurant, the Venus Bridge, Tairyuji Temple and Futatabi Park.

Team

Sky Flight led the project and built the scenery and terrain, and Namaewa handled the road mesh, elevation and modeling.

Tips

One user said it didn’t work with the latest Custom Shaders Patch preview; the author replied that new versions sometimes break it and advised using an older one. It has very few reviews, even though it’s one of the most downloaded tracks.

Unofficial fan-made mod. The names of tracks, places, events and brands that appear belong to their respective owners; neither the author nor Holymod is affiliated with them.
