What this mod does
The Chevrolet Corvette C8 is the first generation of the Corvette with a mid-mounted engine. In American Truck Simulator, America’s most famous sports car is playing on home turf. Nimit releases it for free on the official SCS forum, with credits to DN Modding and Slav Jerry, and packs it with configurable parts.
What’s included
- High-quality exterior and interior.
- Custom interface with a digital speedometer; the extra info only partly works.
- Working front windows, adjusted wipers and animations for the stalks and parking brake.
- Engine and transmission tuned to get close to the real 0–100, 200, 250 and 300 km/h times.
- Three exhausts, three mirror covers, five chassis options (with body kit), five hoods and eight spoilers.
Driving tips
It’s very powerful and rear-wheel drive, so it’s hard to control in corners: the author recommends lifting off the throttle as you go into them, just as you would with the real car.
Version
Nimit updated it to 1.56 in October 2025, to 1.59 in May 2026 and to 1.61 on September 5, 2026. The ModLand page still shows version 1.4 for 1.59. You buy it at the mod dealer, under the Chevrolet brand.

Requirements
- American Truck Simulator updated to version 1.61
- Download from the author's thread on the official SCS forum (hosted on Modsfire)
- The author doesn't list any required DLC or other mods
How to install it
- Open the author's thread on the official SCS forum (American Truck Simulator mods section) and click the download link in the first post.
- Download the file from Modsfire, the host the author uses.
- If it's compressed, extract the .scs file and copy it to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Open ATS, go to the Mod Manager and enable the car.
- In your save, go to any truck dealer and open the mod dealer section.
- Pick Chevrolet, buy the car and assign it as your vehicle.
