What this mod does
Nimit’s Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody 2018 is also available for American Truck Simulator. It’s the widebody version of Dodge’s muscle car, a car you buy and drive around the roads of the United States with no cargo trailer. The author publishes it on the official SCS forum, in the ATS mods section, and shows it off in a joint video for ATS and ETS2.
What’s included
- Detailed exterior and interior, with its own UI and a digital speedometer.
- Working front windows and adjusted wipers.
- Animations for the turn signal stalk and the light switch.
- Engine and gearbox tuned to get close to the real car’s acceleration.
Driving tips
Top speed is reached in sixth gear. It’s a very powerful rear-wheel-drive car: ease off the throttle going into corners.
Version and known issues
Nimit announced the 1.61 update in the thread on September 5, 2026; before that, he had updated it for 1.56 and 1.59. One user commented in May 2026 that, with this mod active, truck cabs moved excessively. Don’t confuse it with the official Challenger that SCS includes in its Road Trip content: this is a free, standalone mod.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the author's thread on the official SCS forum (American Truck Simulator mods section) and follow the download link in the first post.
- Download the file from Modsfire, the host the author uses.
- If it comes compressed, extract the .scs file and copy it to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Open ATS, go to the Mod Manager and enable the car.
- In your save, go to any truck dealer and use the entrance to the mod dealer.
- Choose Dodge, buy the car and assign it as your vehicle.

It won't go past a certain speed

Is it the Challenger from the Road Trip DLC?
No. It's a free mod by Nimit, separate from SCS's official content.
