What this mod does
Road Trip Ford Underglow Lights is a mod by Codeman91 that adds neon lights under the body (classic underglow) to the cars from American Truck Simulator’s Road Trip: Ford DLC. It’s one of the most subscribed car accessories on the ATS Workshop, with more than 3,500 subscribers.

How it works
Once you enable it in the Mod Manager, you choose the neon color at the upgrade shop, like any other part. The lights come on at night along with the headlights. In a later update the author added a beacon mode, so you can turn them on and off with whatever key you have bound to beacons.
What you should know
You need the Road Trip: Ford DLC. The author doesn’t state the game version; it was published on October 2, 2026 and last updated on October 4. In the comments, several players couldn’t find the F-150 part: the author explains that in the shop it shows up outside the vehicle, low and toward the center. One user warns that it doesn’t work together with a lowered suspension mod. For support, the author points you to his Discord server.

How to install it
- Open the “Road Trip Ford Underglow Lights” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
- Open your profile's Mod Manager and enable “Road Trip Ford Underglow Lights”.
- Go to the upgrade shop with one of the four Fords and buy the neon in the color you want.
- If you want to switch it on manually, use beacon mode and the beacon key.

According to the author, in the shop it shows up outside the vehicle, low and toward the center.
