What this mod does
The 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe is Chevrolet’s big SUV, hugely popular in Mexico and the United States. Nimit turns it into a vehicle you buy and drive in American Truck Simulator, with accessories and the option of towing a camper along the map’s roads. He publishes it for free on his verified ModLand account, with credits to Nimit, Elaman, obelihnio and Void.
What’s included
- 5.3 L V8 engine and 4-speed automatic gearbox, realistically configured.
- LED strobe lights and a beacon as accessories, plus interior accessories.
- Six wheel options and two chassis: rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.
- High-quality interior and exterior, with paint in any color and some special paint jobs.
- You can hitch a trailer (camper) to it, and the author highlights how well it handles on the highway.
How to get it
After enabling it in the Mod Manager, go to any truck dealership, enter the mod dealer access and look for the Chevrolet brand.
Version and known issues
Nimit confirms 1.59 in the title and changelog. There’s no confirmed version for 1.61, so it may throw errors there; Holyfix will warn you if so. He also publishes the ETS2 version on the same account.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the mod page on ModLand (Nimit's verified account) and click the download button.
- Download the file from Modsfire, the external host the page points to.
- If it comes compressed, extract the .scs file and copy it to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Open ATS, go to the Mod Manager and enable the car.
- In your save, go to any truck dealership and enter the mod dealer access.
- Choose Chevrolet, buy the car and assign it as your vehicle.
