What this mod does
Corby’s Western Star 49X Parts Pack is a free parts pack for the SCS Western Star 49X. The parts were modeled by Corby, and guidot, from the Half Fast Gaming (HFG) group, brought them into the game after people asked for it, according to the page.
What’s included
- 4 bumpers for the set-forward front axle version (SF).
- 3 exhausts for the sleeper version.
- 2 mud flaps (fender flaps).
- 6 sun visors: 3 for the day cab and 3 for the sleeper cab.
The author plans more additions: trailer cables built into the chassis, bumpers for the set-back axle version (SB) and more mud flaps.
Version and compatibility
Version 8, from August 6, 2023, updated the chassis files and removed unnecessary files. The author marks it on TruckyMods as compatible from 1.46 to 1.61, and the page was updated on September 20, 2026. Version 1.47 had already removed some engine files that left the truck with no sound.
Requirements
The parts are for the Western Star 49X, which is a paid SCS DLC. Modifying it or using its parts is allowed for personal use only, and it can’t be reuploaded.

How to install it
- Open the mod's page on TruckyMods and click the download button (or use the Trucky client).
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Launch ATS, open the Mod Manager and enable the pack.
- Take your Western Star 49X to a service shop or the Western Star dealer.
- Pick the new bumpers, exhausts, mud flaps and sun visors in the tuning menu.
