What this mod does

Project 389 is a free parts pack by guidot, from the Half Fast Gaming (HFG) group, for SCS’s Peterbilt 389. The author took similar parts from his well-known Project 3XX to give the in-game 389 a bit more style, without switching trucks.

What’s included

  • Several bumpers, including two new ones in the latest version.
  • Grilles, two of them designed for the 351/359 headlights.
  • Visors and sun shades.
  • Air cleaners with accessory slots.
  • Fenders, including full rear ones, and a chrome strip for the hood.
  • Two side skirts with modeled tanks.

For now, the parts are exterior only. The author plans to add tanks, fenders, mud flaps, more visors, grilles and headlights.

Version and compatibility

The current version is 0.05, from June 2024, and the author marks it on TruckyMods as compatible from 1.50 to 1.61; the page was updated on September 20, 2026. It doesn’t list any DLC or dependencies, because the Peterbilt 389 comes with the base game. You can download it from the author’s page or with the Trucky client.

guidot asks that you get his permission before reuploading it, modifying it or using its parts in other mods.
