GTM Kenworth T800 for American Truck Simulator
The sloped-nose Kenworth T800 (2015-2018 model) by the GTM team, with several chassis and cabs. To play it on ATS 1.61 you also need the GTM Fixes patch.

What this mod does
The Kenworth T800 is one of the most common trucks on Mexican roads. This mod by the GTM team, credited to SiSL and Wolfi, recreates the 2015-2018 version of the T800, with its sloped hood and set-back front axle.
What’s included
- 4×2, 6×2, 6×2 with lift axle, 6×4, 8×4 and 8×4 with steerable axle chassis, in short and long wheelbase.
- Day Cab (no sleeper), Sleeper and Aero Sleeper cabs.
- Paint templates and compatibility with SiSL interior accessories.
Current status: you need GTM Fixes
The GTM team stopped updating the truck in 2020, with game version 1.39. On modern versions it still loads, but with blinding headlights, overly bright mirrors, odd reflections on the windows and an echo inside the cab.
Those bugs are fixed by GTM Fixes, a companion mod by Maurice Randall. It doesn’t include the truck: it only brings the fixes, so you need to subscribe to both. Its version 1.7 (September 2026) fixes the red headlights that appeared in 1.61, and 1.8 fixes a game crash when switching interiors at the dealer. The same patch also works for the GTM team’s Kenworth W900B and Peterbilt 567.
Who it’s for
For anyone who wants the classic T800 of Mexican routes in their fleet, whether for regional or long-haul jobs, with plenty of room to configure it.

Common problems
Does it work without GTM Fixes?
It can load, but the base mod hasn't been touched since ATS 1.39, and you'll get blinding headlights, overly bright mirrors at night and an echo in the cab. On 1.61, use the patch.
The game crashes when I switch interiors at the dealer
It's an ATS 1.61 bug that GTM Fixes 1.8 fixes. Check that Steam has updated it and that it sits above the T800.
Can I use headlights from another mod?
According to the patch's author, if you use his Real Good Headlights mod, place it above GTM Fixes.
