What this mod does
Jon Ruda’s Freightshaker Cascadia 125 recreates the Freightliner Cascadia 125, Freightliner’s aerodynamic highway tractor. The altered name is a habit of the author’s, as with his Freightshaker Classic XL, but you’ll recognize the truck right away.
What’s included
- 12 chassis in 4×2, 6×4, 8×4 and 8×6, with different lengths.
- 6 cabs: DayCab, 48″ XT, 60″ XT, 60″ Raised Roof, 72″ XT and 72″ Raised Roof.
- Short or long hood, options from the Evolution version and several dashboards.
- Fully animated interior, with original and DLC steering wheels.
- Engines and sounds by Kapitan Kriechbaum and transmissions from 6 to 18 speeds.
- Lots of license plates, a wheel pack, a paint job pack and a template.
- Compatible with SiSL’s Mega Pack, the Cabin Accessories DLC and the author’s Wrecker DLC.

It costs $30 and you pay by card on byjonruda.com. A few minutes later it shows up in your account, under «My modifications», along with a video and picture installation guide. It’s also included in the Freightshaker Fleet Bundle.

Version 3.12, from October 8, 2026, works in ATS and Euro Truck Simulator 2, from 1.58 through 1.61.

How to install it
- Go to the Freightshaker Cascadia 125 page on byjonruda.com and complete the purchase by card.
- Within a few minutes the mod appears in your account, under "My modifications".
- Download version 3.12 and copy the .scs file to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Enable it in the Mod Manager; if you use SiSL's Mega Pack, keep it enabled too.
- Find the truck at the brand's dealer, configure it and buy it.
- To update, download the new version from your account.
Common problems
Why is it called Freightshaker?
That's the name the author uses; the model recreates the Freightliner Cascadia 125.
Does it also work in ETS2?
Yes. The page lists compatibility with ATS and ETS2 from 1.58 through 1.61.
Does it have a long hood?
