What this mod does
The International 9900i Add-ons are a free pack by Sherman for customizing SCS’s International 9900i, the classic long-hood truck sold as a DLC, in more depth. It’s been out since March 2022 and has more than 18,000 subscribers on Steam Workshop.
What’s included
- Extra customization options for the 9900i, with cab accessories (that’s how the author tags it on the Workshop).
- Cab suspension: the cab moves on the chassis when you accelerate, brake or hit bumps.
Requirements
Steam lists two DLCs as required: the International 9900i and the Freightliner Cascadia (3rd/4th generation). If you’re missing either one, you can’t use the mod. It doesn’t require any other mods.
Version and known issues
The description lists compatibility from 1.51 to 1.61, and the file was last updated on April 29, 2025. The comments include reports of parts that look transparent, a hood that sits too high, or parts that disappear. Sherman replies that he tested it without issues and that those problems come from conflicts with other mods, so if it happens to you, first try with only this one enabled.

How to install it
- Make sure you own the International 9900i and Freightliner Cascadia (3rd/4th generation) DLCs.
- Open the “International 9900i Add-ons” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe.”
- Launch American Truck Simulator, open the Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- Load your save and take your 9900i to a garage or an International dealer.
- Pick the new options in the tuning menu.

Common problems
Why does it require the Cascadia DLC?
Because Steam lists it as a requirement on the mod page, alongside the 9900i DLC.
I see transparent or missing parts
The author blames those glitches on conflicts with other mods: try this mod on its own and change the load order.
What is cab suspension?
It makes the cab move on the chassis, like on the real truck.
