What this mod does
International Fleetstar 2070A is a classic truck built from scratch by Maurice Randall for American Truck Simulator. The real model was made from 1962 to 1977 and served as a tractor, school bus, dump truck and box truck, so it fits right into saves set in another era.
What’s included
- Engine sounds by Kriechbaum (Detroit Diesel) and Slav Jerry (International, CAT and Cummins).
- Factory paint with three combinations, plus custom colors.
- 400-gallon chrome tanks, chrome grille, stamped aluminum grille surround and single or dual vertical stacks.
- Dashboard with a working odometer, more animated gauges, a rubber floor mat and lighting on the heater controls.
- Seven paint templates on Google Drive for creating your own skins.
Version and where to buy it
V1.6 (September 4, 2026) fixes the red headlights that appeared with 1.61, according to the changelog. You’ll find it in the mod dealers section under International, or at an International dealer on the map.
Known issues
To fit the chrome tanks, you first have to pick the standard tanks. The author acknowledges an incorrect shadow on a Michelin wheel and, if the interior looks oddly shiny, recommends removing graphics, lighting or weather mods.
