International Paystar 5070 (Smarty) for American Truck Simulator

What this mod does

International Paystar 5070 is a real work truck. International’s 5000 series was built for mixed on- and off-road use, on construction sites and in oil fields, and Smarty has brought it to ATS in his usual style: careful documentation and realistic options.

What to expect

• Oversized frame and exceptional ground clearance.
• Day cab only, with limited-capacity tanks: the author recommends it for trips within a single state.
• Ideal for special transport, logging and unpaved roads.
• Shows up in heavy and oversize cargo quick jobs.
• Engine sound using Kriechbaum samples.

Version and download

Version 1.0.7 is from May 23, 2026 and the file is 23.45 MB on scr-rigs.com, which also has paint templates (version 1.0.3 from March 2025). The author doesn’t state the game version; the date corresponds to ATS 1.59. He only publishes it on Steam Workshop and his website.

Pairings

It shares its cab with the same author’s Pacific P-500F, and Real Eaton Fuller Transmissions has supported it since January 2026. With its short range, it’s a good idea to plan fuel stops on long routes.

Requirements

• American Truck Simulator 1.59 or later (May 2026 version; the author doesn't give an exact game version)
• No DLC or additional mods according to the author

How to install it

1. Open the Paystar 5070 page on scr-rigs.com or subscribe on Steam Workshop from the forum thread.
2. Download scr_ih_5070.zip (23.45 MB).
3. Copy the .zip, without unzipping, to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
4. Enable the mod in the Mod Manager and load your profile.
5. To try it without buying it, look through the heavy or oversize cargo quick jobs.
