What this mod does
Pacific P-500F brings to ATS a truck that’s little known outside Canada. Pacific was one of the most prominent Canadian manufacturers, and the P-500F was built roughly between 1974 and 1981, when the brand belonged to International Harvester. It’s made by Smarty, who also created the International Paystar 5070.
What makes it special
- The cab is the same one used on International’s conventional Paystars of that era, a detail the author invites you to discover.
- Rugged construction, designed for easy maintenance and with high ground clearance.
- A raised driving position and an interior with finishes that, according to the author, rivaled those of pricier brands.
- Engine sound using Kriechbaum samples.
Version and download
Version 1.0.3 was released on May 24, 2026 and is 48.99 MB on the author’s website, which also has paint templates (September 2025). Smarty doesn’t state the game version; the date corresponds to ATS 1.59. He only publishes on Steam Workshop and scr-rigs.com.
Compatibility
Since January 2026, Real Eaton Fuller Transmissions includes support for this truck. The first post in the thread doesn’t detail engines or transmissions, so check the options at the dealer before buying it.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the Pacific P-500F page on scr-rigs.com or subscribe on Steam Workshop from the forum thread.
- Download scr_pacific_p500.zip (48.99 MB).
- Copy the .zip, without unzipping, to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Enable the mod in the Mod Manager and load your profile.
- Find the truck in the truck purchase menu and check its engine and transmission options.

Common problems
Why does it look like an International Paystar?
Because Pacific belonged to International Harvester and the P-500F used the cab of the Paystars of that era.

The author highlights its ruggedness and ground clearance; it's a heavy-duty truck.

The author doesn't say; version 1.0.3 is from May 2026.
