What this mod does
Rideshare Jobs for Road Trip, by AppleML, adds passenger transport jobs to American Truck Simulator’s car mode, in the style of ridesharing apps. It works with the official vehicles from the Road Trip: Ford DLC; the author hasn’t decided yet whether he’ll support modded cars.
Trip types
- Standard ride: up to 559 miles, with 1, 2 or 3 passengers; groups pay more per mile.
- Airport: pick up or drop off passengers, over medium and long distances.
- VIP: a single passenger, up to 559 miles and the best pay.
- Party night: groups on short and medium trips.
- Hitchhiker: short and cheap.
The longest trips unlock as you raise your Courier Rating (2.6, 3.6 and 4.6). Since the October 7 update, passengers sit in the back, and on the 8th, 23 new passengers were added.
Extras and tips
It includes six cards to hang from the rearview mirror (Uber, Lyft and taxi). It includes a Spanish translation. If you don’t see any jobs, drive to another city; to force them, type g_force_economy_reset 1 in the console and reload the profile. The Halloween trips moved to a separate mod. Watch the size: it weighs more than 260 MB.

How to install it
- Open the "Rideshare Jobs for Road Trip" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
- Open the Mod Manager in your profile and enable "Rideshare Jobs for Road Trip".
- Load your profile and switch to car mode.
- If no jobs show up, drive to another city or use g_force_economy_reset 1 in the console and reload the profile.

Does it work with modded cars?
For now only with the official Road Trip vehicles, according to the author.
How do I unlock long trips?
By raising your Courier Rating: there are tiers at 2.6, 3.6 and 4.6.

Yes, it has included a Spanish translation since the October 7, 2026 update.
