What this mod does
Cherrier Percheron Expansion Pack is one of the first mods for the Cherrier Percheron, the European cab-over truck that BeamNG.drive introduced in version 0.40. Its author, la_spicy, released it on the truck’s launch day to answer a very common complaint among players: the stock truck’s engine can barely be customized.
What it adds
- A 10.9-liter inline-six diesel, meant as a cheaper alternative to the factory 12.8-liter.
- A set of new ECUs, each with its own badge in the cab.
- A 10-speed automatic gearbox for anyone who wants lots of gears without driving a manual.
- A stage 1 upgrade with a new engine block and turbo; the turbo only adds power if you fit the race ECU.
- A new configuration: L340 6×4 with a fifth wheel.
Compatibility
It only works with the Percheron, so you need 0.40. The mod page says nothing about Career mode or multiplayer. It’s a Beta version and the author’s first release, with no reviews yet.
Tips
The parts appear in the Percheron’s own Vehicle Config, in the engine, ECU and transmission sections. If you’re after a three-axle semi tractor with a bit more punch, start with the L340 6×4 configuration. Some users have asked for a pushbar-style front bumper, which the author may add later.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the Cherrier Percheron Expansion Pack page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip, without unzipping it, into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Spawn a Cherrier Percheron, open the parts configurator and pick the 10.9 L engine, the ECU or the 10-speed automatic gearbox.

Common problems
Does it work on other trucks?
No. All the parts are for the Cherrier Percheron, which arrived with 0.40.
Why doesn't the new turbo add power?
The author says it only works if you also fit the race ECU.
Does it come with a front bumper?
Not yet. Some players have asked for one and the author says he might add it.
