What this mod does

Fluid Spill Mod adds fluid spills to BeamNG.drive crashes. When an engine gets damaged or a tank ruptures, oil, coolant and fuel drip or gush out, hit the road and form puddles that reduce tire grip.

What it does

  • The bigger the leak, the larger and deeper the puddle, and the more grip you lose when you drive over it.
  • Tires pick up fluid, smear it across the asphalt and gradually clean themselves off.
  • Coolant and fuel evaporate over time; oil stays until you clean it up.
  • It also works with traffic cars.

Settings

It includes a UI app to adjust puddle grip, size and opacity, with buttons to spill fluid under your car and to clean everything up. According to the author, you can also clean up the oil with the Alt+C combination, which is handy if you do roadside assistance roleplay.

Multiplayer and compatibility

The author states full compatibility with BeamMP, with puddles synced for all players; the server needs its own configuration. It came out in July 2026 and was updated in August, after 0.39 arrived. The author states that they used generative AI to create it and has planned improvements such as puddles that flow downhill.
